The Tambov region in Russia has seen a significant increase in the export of milled products, with a 23-fold rise to $1.7 million from January-November compared to the same period last year. Wheat flour makes up the majority of these exports, with over $1.1 million. The main importers are Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Belarus. The region, which is a leading producer of flour in the Central Federal District, has ten large and medium-sized flour mills with a capacity of over 2400 tons of grain processing per day. The region is actively seeking to expand export partnerships through the 'Export of agricultural products' project.
