Over 250 pepper farmers have received organic farming training, with the initiative being led by Katoro Fresh Business and supported by the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI). The training, which aims to boost productivity and increase income, has resulted in the cultivation of large pepper fields spanning 370 acres. Katoro Fresh Business has also provided education on the production of organic fertilizers and monitors the quality of fertilizer used. The company has sold its products in various markets, including Zambia, Kenya, and locally. Additionally, Katoro Fresh Business has established class farms in different regions and has employed 10 permanent staff.
