In 2020, Turkey's tomato and tomato product exports reached $608 million, with the Aegean region accounting for $187 million, a 3% increase. The fruit and vegetable sector aims to further increase this to $650 million in 2021. The country, which is the world's third-largest tomato producer, exported tomatoes and products to 51 countries, with Russia as the main market. The exports included tomato paste, dried tomatoes, tomato juice, and frozen tomatoes, with the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Italy showing the highest increases.
