Bolivia: Tarija manages export of milk and beef to Chile

The Departmental Director of SENASAG in Tarija, Simón Grimaldo, revealed the progress and challenges of this ambitious project, since SENASAG has recently completed an internal technical audit focused on milk production in the municipality of San Lorenzo, with a view to exporting to Chile. “We are working based on some observations that resulted from the internal technical audit to support an external audit of the homologous service we have in Chile,” explained Grimaldo. This meticulous preparation is focused on meeting international standards of quality and food safety.
