On Tuesday and Wednesday (February 3 and 4), Fundecitrus held a technical training meeting with professionals from the Mato Grosso do Sul State Agency for Animal and Plant Health Defense (Iagro), the Rural Development and Extension Agency (Agraer), and the Secretariat of Environment, Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Semadesc), in Campo Grande (MS). The initiative aimed to strengthen the guidelines for the prevention, detection, and management of citrus diseases, with a focus on field action and the standardization of inspection and control procedures. The program included fundamental concepts of plant health applied to citrus cultivation, with emphasis on epidemiology, pests, and diseases.
