Thai pineapple raw material supply for processing reached a low of 15,000 tonnes in August, marking the lowest monthly crop of the year, according to IHS Markit's weekly report. Despite this, the total harvested crop has seen an increase of 10% compared to the previous year, reaching 770,000 tonnes. The final harvest is projected to be 1.3 million tons, which is lower than previous harvests but higher than the 2020 one. The new winter season will begin in October, bringing more fruit supply.
