Thailand's trade with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiators reached over 100 billion US dollars in value during the first four months of 2021, marking a 13.18% increase and accounting for 63.84% of Thailand's total trade, according to the Department of International Trade Negotiations. This growth is largely driven by a 22% increase in agricultural exports, with notable growth in rubber and cassava, and a 5.25% increase in industrial product exports. Despite a decrease in processed agricultural product exports, demand for pet food, wheat products, and instant food continues to grow. This growth is attributed to the recovering global and trading partner economies and the benefits of FTAs, including reduced tariffs for Thai products.
