When analyzing the price trend of Thai scented coconuts, it was found that the price of each scented coconut was 8-10 baht in December 2023. With the arrival of 2024, the price rose rapidly, and the wholesale price at the beginning of the year had risen to 16-17 baht. In early May, the purchase price of the orchard further climbed to 33-35 baht per coconut. The wholesale price of large chain supermarkets in Thailand shows that the price of each scented coconut is 75 baht; but if the single purchase quantity exceeds 8, customers can enjoy a discount and the unit price can be reduced to 72 baht.
