In 2023, the Chuvash Republic saw a 4.7-fold increase in agricultural exports compared to a decade ago, exporting 36.1 thousand tons. This surge is credited to farmers shifting sales to friendly nations and establishing business ties in Asia. The most exported products included confectionery, poultry, and oilseeds, with China, Belarus, and Poland being the top importers. There was also a significant increase in exports to Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Germany compared to the previous year.
