Caesar cheese sauce “Aji-Xốt” Caesar sauce, commonly known as the sauce used with Caesar salad, has a history of over 100 years. In 1924, Italian chef Caesar Cardini accidentally created the Caesar salad when his restaurant in Mexico ran out of ingredients on American Independence Day. He improvised, using the remaining ingredients in the kitchen including Romaine lettuce, toasted bread, Parmesan cheese, eggs, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce from anchovies to prepare the new salad, which was mixed right at the table with an attractive presentation, and the salad named after him quickly became globally famous. Inspired by the renowned European-style sauce of the Italian chef, Ajinomoto Vietnam recently created and launched the “Aji-Xốt” Caesar cheese sauce.
