Since the start of 2022, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Amur Region has monitored around 107 thousand tons of regulated products destined for China, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Japan. China has been the primary importer, receiving over 80 thousand tons of soybeans, among other products. The regional Department of Rosselkhoznadzor has issued over 2,900 phytosanitary certificates for these products in the first half of 2022, with only four being withheld due to the detection of cocklebur, a quarantine object for China, or the violation of the integrity of the inspected batches.
