HIGHLIGHTS Soybean meal continues to be the primary protein ingredient in balanced animal feed in Mexico, according to the National Association of Balanced Feed Producers (CONAFAB) at a press conference on August 27, and expects the total volume of balanced animal feed production in Mexico to increase year by year. "Soybean meal has a higher protein content of 45–47% and is the most widely used product in balanced animal feed. It is the main protein product used," said José Luis Munguia, president of Conafab.
