The average purchase price of slaughter pigs in Ukraine increased by 4.3%

The positive dynamics of prices on the carcass market continues: as a week earlier, the average purchase price of pigs in slaughter conditions increased by 4.3%. Such changes are noted in the analytical department of the "Swine Farmers of Ukraine" Association based on the results of weekly monitoring. The second week in a row for operators of the domestic cuttings market ended with a price increase of UAH 3/kg on average. Yes, most of the commodity batches for this week were sold at UAH 73-75/kg. At the same time, the regional divergence of prices this week is somewhat more pronounced: prices in the West tend towards the lower end of the range, while in the Center and the East there are occasional price offers above the mentioned maximum.
