The Canary Islands Call for Aid to Aloe Vera and Olive Producers

The Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) published, on May 29, the Order calling for surface aid for Aloe Vera and Olive producers for the 2025 campaign. These subsidies are framed within the Community Support Program for Agricultural Productions of the Canary Islands. Producers who are owners of an exploitation dedicated to the cultivation of aloe vera or olive trees located in the Archipelago and that contains a regular plantation of these species in production during this year's campaign, with an area equal to or greater than 2,000 square meters, may avail themselves of the aid provided in this call. The main objective of this call is to support productions oriented to the domestic market, especially adapted to the arid zones of the archipelago, in collaboration with regional agricultural diversification and soil maintenance to prevent desertification.
