[Forestry and Fisheries Newspaper=Reporter Park Se-jun] The Central Association of Forest Cooperatives is actively participating in international forestry cooperation with Uzbekistan, contributing to global forest restoration and desertification prevention. From the 4th to the 12th, the Gangneung Education Center of the Central Association of Forest Cooperatives conducted a practical training course on forest restoration for forestry experts from the Department of Forest Expansion and Desertification Prevention of Uzbekistan. This training is part of the 'Enhancing Urban Greening and Smart Technology-Based Forest Capacity in Tashkent Province, Uzbekistan' project promoted by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and at the request of the project implementation agency, Supro Co., Ltd., the Gangneung Education Center was responsible for managing the core education and practical training courses and field programs in the field of forest restoration.
