Peruvian fruit tree growth, particularly cherimoya, is showing positive prospects with exports reaching US$401,500 in 2024, a 29.6% increase from the previous year. The export value per kilo also increased from US$2.65 in 2023 to US$2.94 in 2024, and the volume of exports also increased by 17.1% from 116,751 kilos in 2023 to 136,713 kilos in 2024. The exports are concentrated in the second quarter, especially in May, and the trend is projected to continue in 2025.
