The CHS approves a discharge of 268 hm³ for the next hydrological year 2025-2026

The Release Commission of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation (CHS), chaired by Mario Urrea, president of the basin authority, has analyzed the evolution of the hydrological year ending on September 30. Thus, the average areal precipitation in this period has been 355 l/m², about 191 l/m² above the average areal precipitation in the same period of the previous hydrological year, about 57 l/m² above the average of the last 5 years, and about 45 l/m² above the average of the last 10 years. As for the distribution of precipitation in the territory, it should be noted that a greater concentration has been observed in the sub-basins of the headwaters of the Segura River, the tributaries of the Segura River on its right bank, the headwaters of the Guadalentín River, and the coastal area.
