The Bábolna Farmers' Days featured an introduction of sorghum hybrids, with both IKR Agrár and variety owners aiming to highlight the plant's benefits for Hungarian farmers. Sorghum is noted for its drought tolerance and superior content values, potentially making it a valuable addition to crop rotation. Lidea, a leading breeder, presented five sorghum hybrids, suitable for feed, food, biogas, or chemical raw materials, and has found market acceptance in the feed industry. RWA Magyarország Kft. also introduced its easy-to-grow and harvest orange-seeded grain sorghum hybrid, Rosario, which offers high yields and low tannin content under favorable conditions.
