The Agricultural Technology Practicalization Foundation is planning to produce a variety of seeds for 11 crops, including special rice, beans, and feed crops, totaling 72 varieties and 2,146 tons. This is a 39.1% increase from the previous year, with a focus on new varieties that meet on-site demand and government policies. The Rural Development Administration has developed some of these new varieties, which are resistant to common rice and bean diseases and have high yield and quality. The foundation will distribute cultivation technology information through Nongsaro and Seedplaza websites to support farmers in cultivating these new varieties.
