Egypt: The Customs Authority begins applying a $60 export fee on a ton of alfalfa

The Customs Authority has started implementing the decision of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Ahmed Samir Saleh, No. 214 of 2023 regarding the continuation of imposing an export fee on alfalfa and similar fodder products, customs item (1214), to be $60 per ton or its equivalent in Egyptian pounds, according to the exchange rates announced by the Central Bank.
