The article reports on the significant increase in the selling prices of various dairy products, including butter, skimmed milk powder (SMP), whole milk powder (PMP), Edam cheese, and Gouda cheese, both domestically and internationally. Between March 1 and 7, 2021, domestic prices in Poland saw increases ranging from 1% to 9%, depending on the product. On the global stage, particularly noteworthy price increases were observed at the March 2 auction on the GlobalDairyTrade platform, with butter and whole milk powder experiencing the most significant hikes (14% and 21%, respectively) compared to the previous quotation. In the European Union, producer prices for butter, SMP, and whole milk powder also rose, with butter reaching a price that was 5% higher than the intervention price.
