The deadline for family farming organizations to submit proposals in the Food Acquisition Program (PAA) aimed at the acquisition and distribution of seeds, seedlings, and propagating materials targeted at the indigenous population, quilombolas, and territories of the Rice for Everyone Program has been extended. The date limit for sending the projects was extended. The registrations were to be closed this Tuesday (30), but now farmers have until the next October 15 to send their projects to the National Supply Company (Conab). In this round, R$ 10 million will be allocated to support the projects for the purchase and distribution of seeds and propagating materials, such as seedlings, among others, throughout the country. The seeds to be acquired by Conab must benefit indigenous, quilombola, and Rice for Everyone Program family farmers.
