In defense of Italian plants from diseases

Defense of wheat from septoria, defense of the sugar beet of the cercospora and monitoring and diagnosis of fungi transmitted by pumpkin seeds. These are some of the focuses that emerged from the works presented in the proceedings of the 2020 Phytopathological Days In the proceedings of the 2020 Phytopathological Days, a total of 67 works were dedicated to the defense against plant diseases. Up to now, 62 of them have been presented in this journal, in this last article the remaining five works are quickly examined: presentation of two new fungicides: a new product based on non-oxygenating Aspergillus flavus for the biocontrol of corn aflatoxins ; mefentrifluconazole, an innovative broad spectrum triazole; defense of wheat from septoria and other leaf diseases; defense of the sugar beet of the cercospora; monitoring and diagnosis of transmitted fungi for pumpkin seeds.
