There has been a 25% increase in the purchase of plant-based milk in Russia in March compared to February, according to the igooods food delivery service. The most popular types are coconut, oat, and almond milk. The top brands purchased are Nemoloko, Alpro, and Aroy, accounting for over 76% of purchases. The consumption of plant milk is highest in St. Petersburg and Moscow, with a preference for oat milk in the latter and coconut milk in the former. The demand for herbal milk alternatives, while more expensive, has led to a significant increase in orders. Euromonitor International values the plant milk market in Russia at 2.77 billion rubles and estimates it to grow to 4.03 billion rubles in 2021.
