Since the beginning of 2021, animal feed prices in Ha Tinh, Vietnam have significantly increased, causing distress for business households and breeders. The price hike, ranging from 5-7 thousand VND / bag, has resulted in a difficult business environment and hesitation for investment in re-herding and production expansion. The increase in feed prices has led to a 10-15% rise in production costs, exacerbated by the need for additional expenses such as vaccines, chemicals, hygiene maintenance, and worker hire to combat epidemics. The situation is further complicated by high breeding pig prices and disease challenges in livestock and poultry, leading to concerns about the stability of agricultural activities in the province.
