Belarus: The EEC considers palm oil a worthy raw material for the food industry

It is incorrect to focus on palm oil among all other oils, said EEC Minister for Technical Regulation Viktor Nazarenko during the Moscow-Minsk-Bishkek-Yerevan-Astana-Tashkent video bridge on the topic: “Main results of the EEC’s work for the period 2020-2024” in multimedia Sputnik Belarus press center. “It (palm oil - Sputnik) is subject to the same requirements as all other types of oils. And it is exactly the same in its characteristics, in its processing technology, and so on... We believe that this is a very worthy raw material that is used very widely in the confectionery industry and in other sectors of our industry,” Nazarenko said.
