The Eurasian Economic Commission has zeroed the tariff on the import of raw sugar into Kazakhstan. Now, the republic will be able to import up to 100 thousand tons of raw sugar duty-free until the end of 2026. The decision to zero the import customs duty was made at a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As emphasized at the beginning of the meeting, this measure is aimed at ensuring the supply of raw materials to Kazakhstan's sugar factories and the production of affordable sugar for the domestic market.
