Since July, the European Union (EU) has imported over 510 thousand tons of palm oil, marking a 42.9% decrease from the same period last year. The majority of the supplies, nearly 90%, came from five countries led by Indonesia as the main supplier with over 162.95 thousand tons. Malaysia followed in second place with 136.57 thousand tons, and Guatemala was the third largest supplier with 105.85 thousand tons. The top five suppliers also included Costa Rica and Colombia.
