From January to October 2022, Ukraine saw a 49% decrease in frozen cattle meat exports, totaling 11.2 thousand tons, valued at $53.1 million, marking a 40.4% decrease in revenue compared to the same period in 2021. The primary markets for these exports were China, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, accounting for 72%, 8.4%, and 5.8% respectively. This decrease could be attributed to a rise in consumer prices for beef in Ukraine, which reached UAH 203.45/kg in October.
