According to preliminary data at the close of week 50, Peru managed to send abroad 3,659 tons of maca compared to 3,045 in 2024, which confirms that global demand for this superfood persists. However, the logistical effort did not translate into greater profitability. The total value invoiced decreased from US$ 23.82 million in 2024 to US$ 17.20 million in 2025, mainly due to a free fall in international prices.
