Spanish wine exports surpassed 3,000 million euros for the first time in March 2023, marking a 6.7% increase from the previous year, as reported by the Spanish Wine Market Observatory (OEMV). Despite a 4.9% decrease in volume, the average price per liter continued to rise, with packaged wines costing 6.5% more and bulk wines 19.9% more. The United States, United Kingdom, and Germany are the top markets for Spanish bottled wines, while China experienced a 27% drop. The first eight months of the 2022/2023 campaign saw a 6.4% increase in turnover but a 1.6% decrease in volume.
