According to experts from the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov Region, mushroom growing projects play an important role in the development of the region's agriculture and in the implementation of the import substitution program. The Russian government aims to make the mushroom growing industry a more competitive direction, including by reducing production costs and increasing production profitability. For this, in November 2020, a resolution developed by the Ministry of Agriculture was approved, which will contribute to an accelerated increase in the production of cultivated mushrooms by domestic enterprises.
