Russia's Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, has announced changes to fish and seafood collection rates, which are expected to boost revenue across all levels of government. The increases will be applied only to fish and seafood species primarily exported, while rates for socially significant fish will remain the same. Companies that invest in production and processing will be rewarded with reduced fees. The minimum fee for the use of aquatic biological resources is set at 150 rubles per ton, except for algae. The new rates will be adjusted annually starting in 2025.
