The agribusiness Molinos Agro announced an investment of US$12 million to expand the sunflower grinding capacity at its industrial complex in San Lorenzo, one of the strategic nodes of the agro-export hub of the Greater Rosario. The work has already been inaugurated and will begin to operate fully in January 2026, coinciding with the start of the 2025/26 campaign. With this expansion, the company will achieve a processing capacity close to 500,000 tons of sunflower per year, which positions it among the main players in the business at the national and regional level, with a participation of over 10% of the total processed in the country.
