On April 13, in Vĩnh Long (former Bến Tre) and Đồng Tháp, relevant parties announced the export of the first batches of "green-skinned grapefruit from Bến Tre" to Australia. The total output of the two batches reached several tons, marking the beginning of the commercialization of this fruit in one of the markets with strict inspection standards. Previously, in October 2025, the competent authorities of the two countries completed the legal procedures, agreeing on the technical conditions for imported grapefruit.
