Ecuador: The first batch of Uruguayan rice is 400 tons

On September 11, the first batch of rice imported from Uruguay arrived, bringing with it 400 tons of this grain. The total amount that is expected to be brought is 15 thousand tons, over the next 8 or 10 weeks. The end? to balance the market supply, to make the product drop in price.
