The Korea Food & Drug Administration (Head Oh Yu-kyung) announced that it is actively pushing forward the "Capacity Enhancement Project for Import and Export Food Safety Management in Latin America" in collaboration with the Korea Food Safety Management Certification Agency to strengthen food safety cooperation with eight Latin American countries (Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru) that have signed or are pursuing free trade agreements (FTAs) and to support the local entry of our companies. Until now, the Korea Food & Drug Administration has been conducting on-site and invited training for food safety regulatory officials from the eight Latin American countries to transfer Korea's food safety management technology.
