The region of Pacitan in East Java has established the Jahe Gajah Pacitan Foreign Exchange Village, focusing on the cultivation of elephant ginger. This program, initiated by the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) and the Ministry of Finance, aims to support and increase the production and quality of ginger commodities through training and assistance to farmers. The village hopes to tap into the export potential of ginger and improve the competitiveness of their products in the global market.
