The article reports the successful harvest of Panderosa lemons from a greenhouse in Manevychi forestry, Volyn, which previously housed blueberry bushes. This experiment, which involved purchasing the lemon seedlings for nearly seven thousand hryvnias, has resulted in 55 lemon bushes yielding a total of 1,100 to 2,100 fruits. The largest fruit weighed 640 grams. The lemons are grown under 24-hour light and fluctuating temperatures, with no fertilization, and the young shoots are rootered to produce new bushes. The harvested lemons will be sent to a cannery to be mixed with birch sap to create a new flavor. The greenhouse also serves as a cultivation site for other produce like lettuce, parsley, dill, and various landscaping plants.
