The Gangwon Office of the National Institute of Agricultural Quality Management (hereinafter referred to as the Gangwon Agricultural Quality Management Office) announced on the 14th that it will conduct compliance checks on farms that have applied for the winter crop direct payment of strategic crops by June 30. The Gangwon Agricultural Quality Management Office plans to select more than half of the 370 farms that applied for direct payment this year as samples, focusing on farmland with a history of non-compliance and newly applied farmland for the checks. Farms found to have violations, such as not cultivating target crops or abandoning farmland, will not be eligible for direct payment. In particular, farmland with fallow land or permanent facilities installed is excluded from direct payment eligibility, so special attention is required.
