December quotations for soft red winter wheat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange CBOT rose to $185.46 per ton, December futures for hard red winter wheat KCBT in Kansas City fell to $180.04 per ton, December futures for hard red spring wheat MGEХ in Minneapolis remained unchanged at $201.90 per ton. December futures for SRW in Chicago closed at $5.04-3/4, up 1 cent, March futures closed at $5.21-1/2, up 1 ¼ cents. December futures for HRW wheat in Kansas City closed at $4.90, down 1 ½ cents, March futures closed at $5.09-1/2, down 1 ½ cents. December futures for MGEХ spring wheat in Minneapolis closed at $5.49-1/2, unchanged, March futures for MGEХ spring wheat closed at $5.69-1/2, unchanged. According to the export inspection data, 480,614 tons of wheat were shipped in the week ending October 16.
