On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the wheat market closed with gains. December soft red winter wheat futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) rose to $185.09 per ton, December hard red winter wheat futures on the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) in Kansas City rose to $179.49 per ton, and December hard red spring wheat futures on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) in Minneapolis rose to $201.63 per ton. December SRW futures in Chicago closed at $5.03-3/4, up 3 ½ cents, March futures closed at $5.19-1/2, up 3 cents. December HRW futures in Kansas City closed at $4.88-1/2, up 3 ½ cents, March futures closed at $5.07-1/4, up 2 ¼ cents. December spring wheat futures on the MGEX in Minneapolis closed at $5.48-3/4, up 3 cents, March spring wheat futures on the MGEX closed at $5.68-3/4, up 2 ½ cents.
