The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision aimed at resolving the problem of the shortage of workers in the agricultural sector. As reported by Yulia Svyrydenko, the Government has canceled the requirement for a three-year experience to obtain a permit to operate agricultural machinery. From now on, drivers who have a license to operate trucks, buses, or minibuses (categories С1, С, D1, D) can operate certain types of agricultural machinery without the need to obtain a tractor driver's license. This right is granted even to those drivers whose experience is less than three years. The new rules apply to equipment of categories А1, А2, В1, В2, В3. This includes tractors, self-propelled grain and corn harvesting machines, as well as equipment for harvesting root crops, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and berries.
