A large investment package, totaling more than R$ 1 billion for the revitalization of hydrographic basins, is now part of the Water for All Axis, in the portfolio of the New PAC. In total, there are 60 projects: 12, worth R$ 409 million, in the hydrographic basins of the São Francisco and Parnaíba rivers; and 48, worth R$ 634.7 million, in the area of influence of the Furnas hydroelectric plants. The investments will be allocated to hydro-environmental revitalization, improvement of navigation on the São Francisco River, urban drainage, and modernization of the national meteorological system.
