The growing season for autumn crops in Ukraine ended as late as the end of November.

This November turned out to be one of the warmest in Ukraine's history, and the agrometeorological conditions for the completion of the vegetation of winter crops have come together quite satisfactorily, reported the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center. "The prolonged period of very warm November weather contributes to the extension of the autumn vegetation. The development of plants continued slowly during the warm days and almost stopped when the night temperatures dropped to negative values. The prevailing moderately warm weather with fog and drizzle on most days was a favorable factor for the growth and development of winter crops, especially for the later sowings," emphasized the center's specialists.
