Within the framework of the presentation of the General Budget of the Republic 2026, the Minister of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Vladimir Cuno, presented the projected outlook for the agrarian sector in 2026, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of investments currently in execution. In this context, the head of Midagri highlighted the sector's proposal to reallocate S/220 million, to finance priority and strategic projects for the agrarian development of the country. The reallocation of the budget will allow the continuation of projects of the Sierra Azul Fund (S/100 million), investments in subnational governments (S/55.1 million), actions of the Agrarian Secigra (S/10 million), the Financial Inclusion Fund-FIFPA (S/44.9 million) and the promotion of rural women's entrepreneurship (S/10 million).
