In 2020, the Amur Region of Russia saw success in agricultural exports, despite the pandemic, with sales of soybeans and soybean meal increasing and products being supplied to 12 countries, primarily China, which accounted for 97% of exports. The region exceeded its soybean export plan, with 23 companies involved and a significant increase in the price of export soybeans. A proposal was made to include soybeans on the list of strategically important goods and to regulate exports to prevent unscrupulous practices.
