The Henan Anyang City Animal Epidemic Situation Consultation Meeting and Veterinary Laboratory Construction Training Session concluded successfully.

To comprehensively summarize the achievements of animal epidemic prevention and control work in 2025, accurately assess the epidemic prevention and control situation, and continuously improve the construction level of Anyang City Veterinary Laboratory and the technical capability of epidemic prevention and control, on January 15, the Anyang City Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center successfully held the 2025 Annual Animal Epidemic Situation Consultation and Discussion Meeting and Veterinary Laboratory Construction Training. Geng Yulin, a member of the party group of the Anyang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, and second-level researcher, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. More than 40 people, including the heads and technical backbone of the veterinary science department and the epidemic control centers of various counties (cities, districts), and all technical staff of the municipal epidemic control center, attended the meeting. This training meeting was rich in content, integrating technical courses, experience exchange, and summary and deployment, and built a learning and exchange platform of "combining learning with practice, enabling in both directions." In the technical training session, six business experts gave comprehensive and in-depth lectures on core contents such as epidemic purification, standardized construction of veterinary laboratories, analysis of epidemic situation, animal epidemiology investigation, management experience of advanced city laboratories, and system assessment report. This provided strong support for attendees to accurately solve work difficulties and master cutting-edge technologies. In the exchange and discussion session, the epidemic control centers of various counties (cities, districts) reported on the progress of their work based on local conditions, shared their outstanding achievements and candidly analyzed their shortcomings, and in the process of ideological collision, they reached a consensus and broadened their perspectives through mutual learning of experiences. At the end of the training meeting, a systematic summary of the 2025 epidemic control work in the whole city was made, the shortcomings in the work were carefully analyzed, and specific plans were made for the next steps. It was required that the city's epidemic control system should focus on ensuring the core goals of animal husbandry safety, public health safety, and biosafety, focus on key links, find the right leverage points, plan ahead, and make precise efforts to implement various prevention and control measures, to escort the development of animal husbandry and public health safety in the whole city. The successful holding of this training meeting further unified thinking, clarified direction, and enhanced capabilities, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of animal epidemic prevention and control work in Anyang City in 2026.
