Mexican mangoes have gained global popularity, especially in the United States, European Union, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the Middle East, due to their quality, food safety, and secure distribution channels. The 'Mango EMEX' quality seal, created by the Association of Exporters of Mangos Mexico (EMEX), has further boosted their international reputation. Despite facing challenges in international markets, the prestige of Mexican mangoes remains intact, thanks to the efforts of producers, packers, and the National Mango Board. However, future challenges include climate change, the introduction of new varieties, and water needs.
