Kazakhstan has implemented a ban on wheat imports since September 2023, with exceptions for deliveries by rail to licensed elevators, grain processors, and poultry enterprises. The Ministry of Agriculture has released an updated list of authorized importers, including 69 poultry farms, 211 grain processors, and 194 elevators. The ban, effective until April 11, was introduced in response to numerous instances of 'gray' import of Russian wheat. Road import of wheat is entirely prohibited.
